I think this stand is a great value. I just want to add some notes that aren't in the product description. From the photo, it looks like there's a flange a few inches from the top. I imagined that maybe this was a reversible piece to handle 1-3/8" or 1-1/2" speakers, but no. This is a 1-3/8" speaker stand. The top part of the picture and the flange are the piece that you install into your speaker. It might just work as an adapter, but I can't say. The problem with that is that the flange and hat just rest on the stand by gravity. You're supposed to screw the flange into the speaker. My speaker is a heavy 44-pound amp, Behringer K900FX 90-Watt 3-Channel PA System, and it comes with a stand connector built-in to the bottom, so I don't use the flange at all.

I needed some tripods for this little event out in the desert. The winds were pretty strong and it kept my speakers steady. It has a locking system that keeps your speakers at many levels. And a added piece for speakers with a larger hole size. This product does what is suppose to do. Highly recommend.

This stand is everything you want in an economical speaker stand. True, it doesn't have wheels, but wheels would simply add to the price. If you're looking for a stand for your PA speakers, this product is a very good answer. My Behringer speakers slid right on and locked in place like they were made for each other. You need look no farther for a speaker stand that is sturdy, does the job, and won't empty your wallet.
