When choosing these bags, they all seem to be advertised as 50" or longer.
In reality that is an outer dimension number.
After trying 3 other bags, this is the longest, and best manufactured of the bunch.
In fact the zipper on this bag is over an inch longer than the others, as is the bag.
This is important when trying to pack/unpack items from the bag, trust me.
Plus of course, Gator makes top notch professional products, that last.

I needed a case to handle two speaker stands, this one works just fine. Not special, it's a canvas black bag, but it holds both my speaker stands. I can ask for more than that.

This bag is for rather custom applications and it happened to be the perfect size for the stand that I'm traveling with. There is no doubt that the material is durable and the zippers are heavy duty. I've already flown a couple times with it and it seems like it'll last for many years. At this price I would be willing to buy a new one every year but I doubt that'll be necessary.
